Biointelect partnered with the Children’s Cancer Institute and Medicines Australia to convene the National Paediatric Oncology Industry-sponsored Clinical Trial Roundtable, bringing together leaders from industry, research, clinical care, government and patient advocacy organisations to identify barriers and opportunities for improving access to clinical trials for children with cancer. Biointelect designed and facilitated the roundtable, captured insights and helped translate these discussions into an evidence-based white paper.
Drawing on our expertise in health policy, market access and stakeholder engagement, Biointelect supported the development of the paper’s strategic recommendations, which focused on strengthening national coordination, improving data integration, expanding equitable access to clinical trials and enhancing regulatory and reimbursement pathways. The report provides a practical roadmap to attract more industry-sponsored paediatric oncology trials to Australia and improve access to innovative therapies for children and their families.
